ANOTR have released their latest single, ‘Out Of My Head’, through their own label, No Art. The track marks a return to club-focused productions following the Amsterdam duo’s third studio album, ‘Withness’.

Built around a disco-funk guitar riff, the new single combines layered vocals with a soulful house groove influenced by early 2000s dance music. The production also features live strings recorded by a nine-piece ensemble of violinists and cellists.

The track was written during the first official songwriting retreat at the duo’s newly acquired studio house in the Dutch countryside. Previously, Jesse and Oz had organized creative retreats in rented properties across the Netherlands, New York, and Ibiza.

Their new space was conceived as a permanent setting for collaboration and experimentation. Work on ‘Out Of My Head’ began while renovations were still underway, establishing the house as an active part of their recording process.

The release follows a significant year for ANOTR, whose single ‘Talk To You’, featuring 54 Ultra, surpassed 250 million streams and reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart. The track also topped the UK Dance Chart and Beatport’s Top 100.

With ‘Out Of My Head’, ANOTR shift their focus back toward dancefloor-oriented material while retaining the live instrumentation and groove-led approach present throughout their recent work.
