Silver Man has announced his new single, ‘Every Step’, set for release on November 6th, 2026, via 3 Bar Fire Records. The track follows his previous release, ‘Paint Me In Gold’.
The Manchester-born producer has spent years working behind the scenes in electronic and independent music, collaborating with labels including Warp, Sony, Def Jux, and !K7, alongside artists such as Diplo, Mr Scruff, Nightmares On Wax, Skream, and Example.
‘Every Step’ combines sampled instrumentation, hip-hop-influenced rhythms, and elements of late-night jazz. Strings, piano, brushed drums, trumpet, and horns form the arrangement, while vinyl crackle adds texture to the production.
Although the track was created entirely through sampling and programming, Silver Man aimed to capture the feel of musicians performing together, preserving the movement and imperfections associated with a live recording.
Growing up in Manchester during the 1980s, the producer was influenced by The Haçienda, The Stone Roses, and The Smiths. His current musical references include Fred again.., DJ Shadow, Bonobo, Burial, and BICEP.
