Beatport has opened applications for Beatport Next 2027, the seventh edition of its artist development program. The initiative will select 12 emerging DJs and producers from around the world for a year of promotional, editorial, and professional support.
Launched in 2021, Beatport Next has previously supported artists including Nia Archives, TSHA, HoneyLuv, Lens, KILIMANJARO, Nala, ATRIP, and Sam Alfred.
Selected participants will receive homepage placements, featured releases, playlists, DJ charts, and coverage through Beatportal and Beatport’s social channels. The program also provides opportunities for live performances, livestreams, workshops, brand partnerships, and networking sessions with the company’s label, marketing, product, and community teams.
Additional benefits include access to music production tools and partner offers through brands such as Plugin Boutique and LabelRadar. Applications are open to emerging electronic music artists worldwide, with the 2027 class scheduled to be announced in January.
