Montreal-based DJ and producer Ian Kaizen joins EG Spotlight for its 343rd installment, delivering a one-hour session shaped by tension, movement, and release.
The mix moves between heavier club moments, melodic passages, and quieter sections, allowing the energy to develop throughout the recording. Rather than following a single musical direction, Kaizen explores contrasts in atmosphere and intensity.
His own production, ‘Nelson Bridge’, appears toward the end of the session, offering a perspective on the ideas currently informing his studio work and DJ performances.
Across the tracklist, Kaizen brings together music from Crowd Control, Nikola Sy, Snirco, Amour Propre, KIMONOS, Yamagucci, Mary Jane US, Broken Hill, and Omri.
The selection also includes contributions from Franc Fala, Benja (NL), TWOLATE (ITA), Harry Kaze, KREAM, Korolova, Argy, ØSHER, Ovadia, Chris Luno, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, among others.
