Mathame have launched NEO Records, a new label introducing the next phase of their audiovisual project. The Italian brothers, Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, inaugurated the imprint with their single ‘Oh Baby.’
The label builds on NEO, the narrative and artistic universe initially introduced through their debut album ‘MEMO’. The concept has since expanded through NEOLOGY, an audiovisual performance incorporating a non-linear, anime-inspired film into the duo’s live shows.
Musically, ‘Oh Baby’ combines techno-driven percussion, darker textures, and atmospheric production. The release follows Mathame’s July single ‘Follow’, featuring Bonn, and continues their exploration of the emotionally driven electronic sound they refer to as EmoTech.
To mark the label’s debut, the brothers also announced a Mathame & Friends pop-up event at The Butcher Social Club during Amsterdam Dance Event, coinciding with the single’s release.
The launch connects their recorded output with a broader creative project spanning music, film, and live performance. Previous appearances at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra Miami, and Hï Ibiza have formed part of the duo’s international touring activity.
